There's a point in GTA Online where you realise being busy isn't the same thing as making progress. It's messy. And it adds up. You don't need some massive spreadsheet, but you do need a goal. Maybe today is bunker resupply and one Cayo prep. Maybe it's hitting a cash target before logging off. Maybe it's clearing out setup work so tomorrow runs smoother. Once you start giving each session a job, you'll notice how much dead time you used to accept without even thinking about it.
Make your businesses overlap
The players who build money fastest usually aren't doing one thing at a time. They're layering activities. That's the part newer players miss. A bunker, nightclub, acid lab, CEO work, heist prep, sell missions, all of it starts making more sense when it feeds into the same routine instead of sitting in separate boxes. While you're active in one area, something else should be ticking over in the background. That's where the real value is. Not in any single mission, but in the stack. If your passive businesses are idle while you grind contact jobs, you're leaving cash behind every single hour, and probably spending more effort to earn less.
Don't let the lobby waste your night
Frustration is expensive in this game. One griefer blows up your cargo and suddenly you're in a pointless fight for forty minutes, getting nothing except a worse mood. We've all done it. The trick is knowing when to walk away from nonsense and get back to your own route. GTA Online throws distractions at you constantly, and not all of them are worth your energy. The players who actually move forward are usually the ones who stay calm, reset quickly, and keep their eyes on the bigger picture.
