The list of finalist for this year's competition was narrowed

Packers (-6) on Rams What do you think of what it's like to know that Aaron  Madden 24 coins Rodgers is no. #1 on every quarterback's list basically by default? Well games like Sunday night provide a great reminder of why. 24/37, 338 yards, 6 TDs. If RG3 was to make this play, there would be a million articles about the way he takes on you with the legs of his arm and his legs and he's in the forefront of all things. But When Aaron Rodgers does it, we're thinking, "Well shit, that's why the name is Aaron Rodgers."

Cowboys (-2.5) against the Panthers -At some point, I'll be writing an epic 10,000-word essay that runs down all the reasons the Cowboys have been a source of frustration for me for the past decade however for the moment, I'm just glad I was on a plane at the Ravens games last week. This could be the last blow for me this season.

Redskins (+6.5) at Giants -- Osi Umenyora has been getting quite sarcastic about his Bob Griffin praise this week but Jason Pierre-Paul's not playing it quite so diplomatic (via New York Daily News):

"Don't bring it to me. You can go the other direction. Be assured that we constantly chase quarterbacks. We run and turn to the ball, regardless of what. We might see him sneak past us and speed right through us, but believe me when I say that we're right there with him. ... You'd be surprised. Surprised indeed."

It's been a busy week, and the upcoming Super Bowl and the events of Media Day on Tuesday dominating headlines. All of this culminating in Super Bowl 49 on Sunday. There's one final big event before kickoff, however that is that of the Madden NFL 24 Honors show on Saturday night. It is the time when the annual award will be handed out to the top players of the league. At the Madden NFL 24 Honors show will also be when officially the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2015 will be announced.

The list of finalist for this year's competition was narrowed to 15 at the beginning of January, from a listing of 26, from  cheap mut 24 coins earlier in November 2014.
