Developer Grinding Gear Games has unveiled a different trailer at E3 2023 for POE Currency, the sequel to the cult classic dark fantasy action RPG Path of Exile. The trailer shows a spellcaster making her way via an army of sinister cultists, firing off arcs of lightning on the way to fighting a hulking abomination.
Reminiscent of Diablo 4, Path of Exile provides a more granular experience than its counterpart from Blizzard Entertainment. The original offers famously sprawling talent trees, replete having a dazzling assortment of decisions for players for making.
Though clearly from the realm of dark fantasy path of exile currency distinguishes itself from Diablo 4's distinctive art style by centering on eldrich horror plucked out of H. P. Lovecraft instead of the more biblical motifs of Diablo.
Should Grinding Gear Games have the capacity to meaningfully iterate within the staples from the genre, their upcoming title could very well earn an area amongst the best RPGs of the latest years.
Either way, Path of Exile would have been a real treat to use it RPG fans, providing the classic kill-loot-repeat trifecta combined with the usual scope for gear collection and ruthless character optimization.
Owned by Chinese media titan Tencent, Grinding Gear Games released the initial Path of Exile made use of in 2013. Since then, the overall game has enjoyed many updates. Path of Exile marks version 4.0 in the original title, which includes received over 30 major updates since it was first released.
The series is well-loved which is something of your cult classic, beloved by the passionate community of fans. In the meantime, however, fans of the genre can continue to keep themselves busy with Diablo 4, which supplies a tantalizingly well-designed open world and also a slick multiplayer mode.
