Players will be required to have already owned the Eriksen unit to acquire the 90-overall version. To claim it, they'll need to enter Ultimate Team, select their club, and search for special card items. There, players will find the unit to add to their club, and they'll be able to use it in online matches. Players looking to make a quick sell can do so in the marketplace, where the Eriksen unit is currently selling for 50.000 coins. The unit will likely become a hot commodity among teams looking to make ground in FC 24 Coins Squad Building Challenge and other online modes.
The soccer world is in full swing and, alongside it, FC 24 is working to improve several aspects of its game. This week, EA Sports released its 8th title update, three weeks after the FC 24 6.1 patch, focusing on small details about each game's modes and the audio and video side along with some tweaks to the game's presentation. EA Sports' patch notes for the FC 24 update highlight that it is targeting bug fixes for VOLTA FOOTBALL, Pro Clubs, and overall gameplay. The update also includes general gameplay and presentation improvements.
Most of the changes and improvements implemented in the newest update address a multitude of small bugs and glitches and will go a long way towards making the experience better for the hardcore fan, despite FC 24 's game engine requiring some work. According to EA, a gameplay change was made to the Drag To Drag Skill Move, allowing players to interrupt this action if input correctly on the analog. Gameplay bugs appear to be taken care of, including one where goals scored within the final moments of the game would not count towards the final score. One of the more comedic bugs looks to be gone, featuring a goalkeeper randomly running towards the ball carrier without being commanded to do so.
In terms of VOLTA FOOTBALL, the VOLTA ARCADE appeared unavailable at times to certain Fut Coins players despite being available at all times. Players also possessed the ability to make the color of the ball and the pitch the same, making it impossible for them to see the ball during a game. A visual-related issue involving Club and Virtual Pro, making information disappear after a player would send another a drop-in invite. Both issues are now a thing of the past, but it remains to be seen if there are any plans for EA to overhaul its game engine.
