Masturbation is often seen unfavorably, which is not warranted. Although it offers numerous physical and emotional benefits, does it aid in weight loss? After an intense workout, one may experience a high heart rate and perspire as if they were running a mile. However, the actual cost of energy may be lower than it seems. According to a 2013 study by experts at the University of Montreal, having lose weight by masturbating with a partner may require a little more energy, but the calorie expenditure is approximately 4.2 calories per minute.
