Our Customized Braided Packing is designed for high-performance sealing in demanding industrial applications. Constructed from PTFE, graphite, and aramid yarn, the packing can be tailored to specific dimensions and operating requirements. It is suitable for use with slurry fluids and can handle speeds up to 10 m/s and a wide pH range from 2 to 14.
Material and Construction
The packing features a graphite core with 100% aramid yarns braided and impregnated with PTFE. The friction faces are made entirely of PTFE and lubricated with a silicone-free lubricant. During the braiding process, the packing is further re-impregnated with a PTFE mixture to enhance sealing and wear resistance. Preformed packing rings are available upon request.
