THE LATEST LAUNCH from Saramonic sees the arrival of the Blink500 ProX B2R, a compact wireless microphone system designed to meet the diverse needs of modern creatives.
Described as a ground-breaking product in portable audio recording technology, the new mic is said to offer broadcast-quality sound in an ultra-compact and user-friendly package. This dual-channel system, operating on the reliable 2.4GHz frequency, ensures stable and interference-free communication for up to two people.
Key features of the new product include a built-in recorder in the TXR transmitter boasting 8GB of onboard memory, enough to record up to 24 hours of high-quality audio, while range has now been upped to 100 metres providing there are no obstacles. The RX receiver also now boasts an intuitive OLED display to enable monitoring of audio levels, battery status and signal strength, while the weight of the new compact package is just 29.5g for the transmitter and 30.5g for the transmitter. Meanwhile battery life is an impressive ten hours if in continuous use, with convenient USB charging.
The Blink500 ProX B2R is compatible with a wide range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, mirrorless and DSLR cameras and camcorders. Each package includes a lavaliere microphone, USB-C charging cable and a protective case with additional charging capacity, and the SRP is set at £260.
