"I didn't realize it at the time, but I was essentially going through a midlife crisis when I watched The World's End. I was wondering what I was doing with my life, missing the glory days, and all that optimism of my youth.

So it's good to see someone else getting it. It's kind of the forgotten Edgar Wright movie but it's so powerful. The script is great, has some great moments of tension, and the fights are great.

I watched it again recently and still love it, but I can see why those not going through that crisis would think Gary King is annoying."
