You don't have to pay a luxury tax for a big TV that can play both your 4K HDR movies and PlayStation 5 video games in the best way possible. For this week only, both Amazon and Best Buy are offering the 75" TCL QM6K 4K smart TV for just $679.99 with free delivery. This massive TV boasts a Mini-LED panel with Quantum Dot technology and 144Hz refresh rate to deliver a bright, vibrant, and smooth picture that's as close as you can get to OLED at a third of the cost.

The TCL QM6K was released in early 2025 and although a new QM6L successor was announced earlier this year, it's still not available for purchase. Even when it launches, it will not compete with the QM6K in terms of price for at least several months (most likely not until 2027). The next TV up the hierarchy is the QM7K, which currently costs $300 more. Jaron Schneider reviewed it last year and found much to like. Even at its retail price, this TV was already "redefining entry-level".
TCL QM6K 4K TV Review by Jaron Schneider
Last year’s QM7 showed hints of what TCL was capable of, but the brand-new QM6K takes its technology to another level. I have never tested an LED television with a combination of this level of off-angle contrast control, halo suppression, and contrast at this price. The result is one of the best TVs for gaming at the $1,000 price point.
The QM6K is a big update over its predecessor because it's now equipped with a Mini-LED panel. Mini LED panels offer more precise full-array local dimming than standard LED LCD TVs because the zones are smaller and more numerous. Whereas a typical LED LCD TV might have fewer than 100 zones, the QM6K has up to 500 zones depending on the screen size. In addition to the Mini-LED panel, the QM6K also adopts Samsung's quantum dot technology, which allows the TV to produce a brighter image and a wider color gamut. Mini-LED TVs are, in general, considerably brighter than OLED TVs.
Gamers are also covered. The QM6K has a native 144Hz panel and two HDMI 2.1 inputs. That means it supports true 4K @ 120Hz gaming on PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles as well as a Game Accelerator VRR feature that can support up to 288Hz at 1080p. Along with variable refresh rate, the QM6K also supports auto low latency mode (ALLM).
The QM6K uses Google TV as its smart interface. Google TV is intuitive to use and supports voice commands through Google Assistant. You can also pair it with an Android phone to use as a remote.
