Evara Backs Women’s Cricket in New Multi-Year Cricket Ireland Partnership
Cricket Ireland has announced Evara as the new lead sponsor of the Ireland Women’s Senior and Under-19 teams in a multi-year partnership that also extends into the club game across the island.
Evara, Ireland’s largest privately-owned homebuilder, will become the shirt sponsor of the senior international women’s team and the Ireland Under-19 Women’s team.
The company will also become title partner of Cricket Ireland’s four All-Ireland Club Cup competitions: the Evara Irish Senior Cup, Evara National Cup, and the men’s and women’s Evara All-Ireland T20 Club Cup.
The announcement comes ahead of a busy summer for Ireland Women, with fixtures against the West Indies, Pakistan and England, as well as participation in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in June.
The partnership will also include community activity, video storytelling, club cup finals coverage, and opportunities for fans and local communities to engage with Ireland Women players.
“The Ireland Women’s senior international squad is a growing force in world cricket,” said Sarah Keane, CEO of Cricket Ireland.
“Their development and improving competitiveness on the global stage over recent years has significantly raised the profile of the team, as well as a number of the leading players.
“What excites us about this partnership is that it reflects a shared focus on community, bringing together our commitment to grassroots cricket across Ireland with Evara’s vision of building places where people want to live and where neighbourhoods come alive.”
Evara has delivered more than 3,000 homes in the Greater Dublin Area and is investing €2 billion to deliver more than 7,000 new homes over the next five years.
The company is the lead developer at Adamstown, one of Ireland’s fastest-growing suburbs, where it has an established relationship with Adamstown Cricket Club, now the largest cricket club in Ireland.
“We are thrilled by this new partnership and excited to be working with Cricket Ireland,” said Michael Hynes, CEO of Evara.
“Ireland’s women’s cricket teams are a growing force in the sport thanks to their dedication, determination, skill levels and competitive edge.
“We are delighted to support the growth of an inclusive sport with an ability to bring communities and people together.”
