The title race in the Saudi top flight will continue at Al-Khaleej Club Stadium this midweek as Al-Khaleej host Al-Hilal in the 31st round of the 2025-26 Saudi Pro League campaign on Tuesday. The hosts have confirmed survival in the top flight for a fourth consecutive season, while the visitors are in a race against time to close the five-point gap behind league leaders Al-Nassr.
Al-Khaleej have picked up back-to-back wins for the first time since January, claiming a 3-1 victory over already relegated Al-Najma and more recently a 2-0 win over relegation-threatened Damac to pull 14 points clear of the drop zone with four games to go.
Thanks for the submission!
Gus Poyet’s side have been inconsistent for most of the season but have managed to remain in the top 10 and will be optimistic about continuing their recent form in a bid to secure a top-half finish.
Al-Hilal, on the other hand, remain the only unbeaten team in the league with 22 wins and eight draws from 30 games, but have fallen five points behind in the title race and will need to secure a win on Tuesday and hope results elsewhere go their way to keep their hopes of a 20th league title alive.
The Blue Waves picked up a deserved 3-0 win when they visited Al-Hazem last time out and will be confident of replicating a similar performance when they make the trip to Saihat.
