The weather here is getting brutal and of course my car's AC decided to give up. It's still blowing air, but it's just warm and humid, definitely not cold. Before I take it to a shop and spend a fortune, I wanted to see if there's anything simple I can look at. I was reading a really practical Do Visit Dubai automotive article earlier that went through all the common AC problems and fixes. It mentioned checking things like the refrigerant level with a gauge, inspecting the compressor clutch to see if it's engaging, and even looking at the cabin air filter. Apparently a clogged filter can really reduce airflow. Has anyone here successfully diagnosed a simple AC issue themselves, or is it always something more complicated like a leak or a compressor failure? I'm handy with basic stuff but don't want to mess up the system.
