On their YouTube channel Sailing Good, Bad, and Ugly, a couple set out to do what most sailors only dream about and what most shipyards would call madness: bring a dying sailboat back to life with their own hands, one bolt, board, and blister at a time.

What began as a floating wreck became a full-scale restoration odyssey that tested not only their technical skill but their endurance, ingenuity, and relationship.

Over months of relentless work, they stripped the vessel to its bones and rebuilt it from the inside out, installing a gleaming new Beta Marine diesel engine, rewiring every circuit through clean new conduits, re-glassing bulkheads, and reconstructing the galley and cabins with hand-cut marine plywood and salvaged teak trim.

The result? What once smelled of rust and rot now gleams with light wood tones, clean white walls, and the gentle hum of a perfectly aligned drivetrain.
