Helmet cam footage of an American soldier capturing Russian soldiers has gone viral on Telegram. It was filmed by former US marine Bruce, who is fighting in the Ukraine war since spring 2025.

Bruce told RFE/RL why he volunteered to fight in Ukraine and offers a glimpse into the grim realities of the "horrifying" fighting on the front line.
