Alex Pretti Identified as Man Shot by ICE in Minneapolis
Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old Minneapolis resident and ICU nurse, has been identified as the man shot and killed by a federal agent in the Whittier neighborhood on Saturday.
Pretti also worked at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and as a Junior Scientist at the University of Minnesota.
City and state officials, including members of the Minneapolis Senate delegation, have expressed their condolences and called for accountability in the wake of the fatal incident. Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara confirmed Pretti was a U.S. citizen and legal gun owner.
