Storm Chandra causing disruption across Ireland | Newstalk

Storm Chandra is causing chaos with widespread flooding today, especially in the south and southeast. 

Main motorways have been closed, cars abandoned and 20 thousand properties are without power. The disruption is likely to worsen in the hours ahead as winds of up to 119 km's an hour are expected

Alan O’Reilly of Carlow Weather, spoke with Jonathan Healy on Newstalk Breakfast, warning listeners to be ‘very careful’ while driving due to flooding on the roads.
