Hundreds of people living in vehicles around a Bristol beauty spot are facing eviction, after the council began legal proceedings to try and move them on.
The issue of van dwellers on the Clifton Downs has become increasingly acrimonious, after the council accused them of fly tipping, poor parking and leaving human waste in the park.
But what's going on there is a small part of a much bigger problem.
A shortage in the number of affordable homes combined with the cost of living crisis has caused other similar 'van cities' to spring up across the country.
