Iran's president apologises for strikes on neighbours and responds to Trump's surrender demand

The Iranian President has apologised to his country's neighbours and promised to stop carrying out strikes against them - unless Iran is targeted by attacks launched from their territory.

Masoud Pezeshkian has said a demand made by the US for an unconditional surrender is a "dream that they should take to their grave".

He made the statement in a pre-recorded address aired by state television.
