Woman’s Target Scam Ends in Disaster
On June 20, 2023 in Florida, officers responded to a call from Target regarding a suspected theft in progress. Loss Prevention at Target recognized one of the female subjects from a previous theft. When the officers arrived, they found that female loading merchandise into a vehicle illegally parked in two handicap spots near the front. She told the officers that she hadn't paid for any of the merchandise but her friend, who was still inside the store, was in the process of paying. This is footage of the events that followed. The suspect was ultimately charged with Grand Theft ($750 or more) and Resisting an Officer without Violence.
