Donald Trump dances with sword after he and JD Vance cut cake at Commander in Chief inaugural ball

Donald Trump's inauguration took place Monday, Jan. 20, 2025, in Washington, D.C. Trump and his vice president, JD Vance, were sworn in around noon.

Trump's long celebration-filled day continued with a series of inaugural balls. At the Commander in Chief Ball, Trump and Vance cut a cake with swords in front of the troops in attendance.
