‘Not your place’: USDA inspector general escorted out of the White House after being fired
Filmmaker Ami Horowitz has reacted to reports that the former inspector general of the US Department of Agriculture was escorted from her office in the White House after refusing to comply with her dismissal by the Trump administration.
“It’s not your place to interpret the protocols and legality of your firing,” Mr Horowitz said.
“His ability to fire the inspector generals is within his purview, completely legal and I think that we have all the media talking about how this goes against the law is simply untrue.”
