Katharine, Duchess of Kent, has died at the age of 92, Buckingham Palace has announced. She was the wife of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, a first cousin of Queen Elizabeth II. In a statement the Palace said: “Her Royal Highness passed away peacefully last night at Kensington Palace, surrounded by her family.”. Report by Iain Jones.
