When called out, Kanye defends his actions by citing his “mental geniusness.” “Due to my mental genius-ness, in order to focus on this bulls–t, I need to be on a phone,” he responded. West eventually removes his hat but dons a face covering, insisting the lawyer has no “right to see my face!”  The deposition grows more contentious as Kanye resists questions about his location and surroundings. “I’m not gon’ tell you,” the Chicago native replied. “You’re never going to see me again.” Popok then asked Ye what “other things” he had in the room. “Are you stupid? I’m not going to tell you the other things — I don’t have the time to be talking about … I got a chair in the room,” he responded. “You are talking to the richest black person in the history of America!” Ye told the attorney during the deposition that was part of a 2020 case against West. The lawsuit accused him of stealing technology to advance the Yeezy brand and launch his Sunday Service.  “Interrogation Raw” is “a true crime series that explores the delicate twists and turns of some of the most fascinating interrogations ever done,” the synopsis states.  “Each hour-long episode will reveal every tactic, every make-or-break moment that occurs within those four walls, Armchair detectives will feel like they are in the room as the very detectives involved share play-by-play commentary on what is often a high-stakes game of cat and mouse,” the description continues. “The tension is palpable since, by law, no suspect needs to talk at all.  Those who do can stop at any time. On Interrogation Raw, it’s a race against the clock and everything is on the line.” “Interrogation Raw” premieres Dec. 26 at 10 PM ET/PT on A&E.
