Michael B. Jordan’s ‘Thomas Crown Affair’ Lands March 2027 Release

Jordan directs and stars alongside in the feature that follows ‘s 1968 original of the same name starring Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. Serving as producers are Patrick McCormick and Marc Toberoff, while Jordan produces for his banner Outlier Society alongside Elizabeth Raposo. This has been a big month for Jordan, who stars in the Ryan Coogler-directed Sinners, which is off to a hot start at the box office for Warner Bros. Jordan teased his take on The Thomas Crown Affair during a video segment at CinemaCon earlier this month, telling the crowd that he was busy working on the film in London. “This isn’t just another remake,” he said at the time, before adding, “It’s a kind of movie that demands the big screen.” Amazon MGM exec Kevin Wilson also shared that the movie “promises to surprise audiences with a few modern twists.” Deadline was first to report on the release date.
