"Am I The Only One Who Needs More?": Disney Dreamlight Valley Fans Beg Gameloft To Add More Side Characters
There are over 35 classic Disney characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but some fans wish that the game would pay more attention to supporting characters, not just main characters. The cozy decorating life sim lets Disney fans hang out, chat, and craft with beloved Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and many more.
There are currently over a dozen movies and franchises represented in the Valley, but most focus only on the main characters of each title. Reddit user Consistent_Load7358 wishes that Disney and developer Gameloft would include more characters besides the protagonist (and, sometimes, antagonist) of each title. In particular, they call on the developers to bring Mirabel more company from the Encanto movie, like Isabella and the notorious Bruno.
Why Dreamlight Valley Should Have More Encanto Characters
From Fun Animations To Lore, The Movie Fits DDV Well
Encanto is a movie all about family, and many of the comments agree with the original poster that it's odd to have Mirabel in the Valley all alone in the large Casita. Other characters could move into the Valley, bringing their special powers with them—and each new character could get their own room in the large, ever-growing house.

How To Unlock The Cheshire Cat In Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Cheshire Cat has finally become available in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but he's going to cause just a little bit more chaos beforehand.
Of course, adding the entire Madrigal family wouldn't make sense, but at the very least, says the original poster, they wish Gameloft would add Isabella and Luisa to the game. Isabelle, in practicular, would make a great addition thanks to her special nature-controlling powers. "Imagine all the cute animations Isabella could make with her flowers," writes Consistent_Load7358, noting that the Friendship Quest rewards from her would also "probably be very pretty."
Finally, "we gotta talk about Bruno," says Redditor keelhaulrose, pointing out that the character would work well in relation to Dreamlight Valley's antagonist, The Forgotten, paving the way for a lot of story potential. They add: "I feel like he would understand the Forgotten better than any of the characters we currently have."
Some Titles Just Need More Characters In DDV
Stitch Misses His Ohana

Encanto isn't the only Disney movie that fans are hoping will get a second (or third) character. Redditor Stoner_goth points out that Stitch is also sorely missing Lilo, who isn't in the game with him. "Stitch is without his Ohana and that’s depressing honestly," they say, since the entire movie is about Stitch and his found family.
New characters arrive in the Valley every few months, with Alice and the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland being the most recent new residents to move in. There are still so many Disney movies and shows that need to make their appearance in the Valley, that adding secondary characters from existing IPs seems unlikely.
Still, fans remain hopeful that just because a movie already has a Valley resident, that doesn't mean Disney is done with that title. Over time, Disney Dreamlight Valley will undoubtedly continue to grow and evolve, bringing more underappreciated characters to the limelight.
