Kanye West Responds to Shanghai Concert Criticism Amid Slovakian Festival Controversy

Kanye West has once again found himself at the center of controversy, leading to the cancellation of a Slovakian music festival following backlash from fans and fellow performers over his scheduled appearance. Full story below… While West rarely addresses media reports directly, his team broke the silence to respond to recent criticism surrounding his July 12 performance in Shanghai.  In an official statement, they denied claims that West arrived late and acknowledged technical difficulties during the show, aiming to set the record straight amid speculation. “The concert was originally scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM, but due to on-site equipment issues, troubleshooting and adjustments continued until 8:00 PM and still failed to reach optimal condition. Out of respect for the audience’s passion and anticipation, Ye made the decision to go on stage and perform despite the imperfect setup. Therefore, claims of Ye being late are entirely untrue.” Ye pinned a message to his fans saying: “I love China. I love my Chinese fans. Your support is my greatest motivation. I promise to return your trust and love with even more perfect performances in the future!” As controversy continues to follow him, it looks like Kanye West and his team have a response to everything.
