Major recall of popular children's toy, with hundreds sold in Ireland

Arnotts is among the retailers that sold the products

A major recall has been issued for a popular children's toy, with a safety concern identified with two versions of the product.

Ravensburger has made Ireland's Consumer and Competition Protection Commission (CCPC) aware of a recall of both its Pop-it Spinner: Leopard and Pop-it Spinner: Monkey, which has been sold in a number of Irish stores.

The risk reported to the CCPC is that of choking because small parts could detach from both products. This could result in a small child placing them in their mouth and possibly choking.
