Digging through the dusty archives of my studio in Milan this morning, I found this. 📂This was supposed to be the cover for the September issue of MODA back in '84. I remember the meeting vividly. The editor took one look at the print, adjusted his glasses, and slammed the folder shut."Troppo provocante, Alessandra. Too raw. The public isn't ready for this kind of stare."He wanted safe. I gave him real.They went with a smiling girl in a polka dot dress instead. Boring.Looking at it now, 40 years later, with the coffee stains and the torn edges... I think it’s a shame.
