Enquiries are ongoing into the fatal crash.
A man and woman have died in an Aberdeenshire crash which also left four in hospital, including two young children.
Emergency services were called around 7.25pm on Saturday to a crash between Toll of Birness and Mintlaw at Clola on the A952 that involved a grey Land Rover Evoque and a black Vauxhall Corsa.
They attended and a 24-year-old man, a passenger in the Corsa, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Their condition is currently unknown.

Two boys aged seven and five in the car were also taken to hospital as a precaution.
The road was closed for crash investigation work.

Sergeant Pete Henderson said: “Our thoughts are with the families of those who died and everyone affected by this incident.
“Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen what happened.
“We are also asking anyone driving in the area around the time of the crash to please check any dash-cam footage they have to see if it has captured something that could assist with our investigation.
“Anyone who can help is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2697 of Saturday, December 6.”
