‘Imperfect Women’ First Look: Kerry Washington and Elisabeth Moss Lead Apple TV Thriller Series

has released a first look at “,” a new eight-part psychological thriller series starring and . The first two episodes premiere on March 18, followed by a new episode every Wednesday until April 29.

Adapted from Araminta Hall’s novel, “’Imperfect Women’ examines a crime that shatters the lives of three women after a decades-long friendship. The unconventional thriller explores guilt and retribution, love and betrayal, and the compromises we make that alter our lives irrevocably. As the investigation unravels, so does the truth about how even the closest friendships may not be what they seem,” per an official logline.

Other cast members include Kate Mara (“House of Cards”), Joel Kinnaman (“For All Mankind”), Corey Stoll (“House of Cards”), Leslie Odom Jr. (“Hamilton”), Audrey Zahn (“Wildcat”), Jill Wagner (“Special Ops: Lioness”), Rome Flynn (“With Love”), Sheryl Lee Ralph (“Abbott Elementary”), Violette Linnz (“Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty“), Indiana Elle (“The Housemaid”), Jackson Kelly (“The Pitt”), Keith Carradine (“Madam Secretary”), Ana Ortiz (“Ugly Betty”) and Wilson Bethel (“All Rise”).

“Imperfect Women” was created for television by Annie Weisman, who also serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside writer Kay Oyegun. This marks Weisman’s latest collaboration with Apple TV after 2021’s “Physical,” a drama series starring Rose Byrne that ran for three seasons.

Moss and Lindsey McManus executive produce through their Love & Squalor Pictures Banner. Washington executive produces for Simpson Street along with Pilar Savone. Lesli Linka Glatter directed and served as executive producer for the first episode.
