Kerry recognised by CDP for its environmental commitments

Kerry, a global leader in sustainable taste & nutrition solutions, has been recognised by CDP as a global leader across Climate Change, Forests and Water Security, reflecting the company’s strong environmental commitments and performance under it’s Beyond the Horizon strategy. 

Kerry achieved an ‘A’ rating for Climate Change, the highest score available, placing the company among the top 4% of companies assessed globally by CDP.

This was combined with leadership-level ratings for both Forests and Water Security, demonstrating continued progress in managing these issues across Kerry’s operations and wider value chain. 

Under Kerry’s ‘Better for Planet’ commitments, the company has set ambitious targets to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and achieve net zero before 2050, with both near- and long-term goals validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

Kerry has also established water stewardship targets and is committed to sourcing key raw materials responsibly to prevent further forest loss.

CDP’s assessment is based on detailed environmental disclosures, evaluating corporate strategy, governance, targets, risk management, opportunities and the actions taken over the reporting period.
