International advisory firm Interpath has appointed Helen Dooley, one of Ireland’s most experienced general counsel, as Special Advisor.
Dooley previously held the role of Group General Counsel at Allied Irish Banks plc (AIB), where she was a member of the Bank’s Executive Leadership Team.
She has a wealth of Irish and EU financial services experience gained as a solicitor in private practice and in-house in the City of London, Hong Kong and Dublin.
Over a career spanning more than 30 years, Dooley 's experience includes banking and regulatory advisory, corporate governance, company secretarial and complaints management.
In the AIB Group, she led an in-house legal team comprising c.100 lawyers advising on a wide range of matters including retail and wholesale banking, market abuse, products, litigation and M&A activity.
At Interpath, Dooley will support the continued growth of the firm’s services focusing on Ireland’s financial services market.
