Railway operator ADIF said the Madrid-bound trains both derailed in southern Spain on Sunday night in Adamuz, near Cordoba. Iyro, a high-speed train operator in Spain, has confirmed on X that a derailment occurred on their 6189 service, travelling between Malaga and Madrid.According to Spanish media, there were 300 passengers on board this train and many were able to walk away on their own after the accident. Emergency personnel are currently working at the scene to free several people who were trapped in the back carriage after it came off the tracks.
