Irish Rugby announces new partnership with nutrition company AG1

Irish Rugby has announced a new commercial partnership with global nutrition company AG1, which becomes the Official Daily Nutrition Supplement Partner across the Irish Rugby ecosystem. The agreement will see AG1 support the game from grassroots level through to the Ireland men’s and women’s teams, beginning with the Guinness Men’s Six Nations. As part of the deal, AG1 will receive match-day branding at all Irish Rugby home fixtures and will engage directly with supporters through exclusive offers and product sampling at Ireland home matches from 14 February 2026. The partnership marks AG1’s first formal collaboration of this kind in Ireland and represents a further step in the company’s European expansion strategy. Founded more than 15 years ago, AG1 has built its reputation on science-backed nutritional products aimed at supporting long-term health and performance, particularly among athletes. AG1’s flagship formulation contains more than 70 ingredients, including vitamins, minerals, whole food-sourced nutrients, antioxidants, functional mushrooms and gut-friendly bacteria. The product is certified by the Cologne List®, an independent testing programme recognised internationally for its stringent quality and safety standards, particularly within elite sport. Commenting on the partnership, Brian Kearney, Vice President of Growth, Europe at AG1, said: "As AG1 continues to grow across Europe and deepen our presence in Ireland, it’s especially meaningful for us to support the iconic Irish Rugby teams and the grassroots game. “At AG1, we believe long-term health and performance are built through consistent daily habits. “The dedication and resilience shown across Irish Rugby reflect the values we stand for, and we’re proud to support the teams as the Official Daily Nutrition Supplement Partner for the 2026 season." Billy Murphy, Chairperson of the IRFU Commercial & Marketing Committee, said the partnership aligns with the physical demands of the sport and the growing focus on player wellbeing: “We are delighted to welcome AG1 as our Official Daily Nutrition Supplement Partner. AG1 is the latest commercial partner for Irish Rugby “In rugby, our players are constantly pushing their body to the limits. Partnering with AG1 gives players, coaches and fans access to research-backed nutritional support and helps empower people to take ownership of their health.” The collaboration adds to Irish Rugby’s portfolio of commercial partners and reflects continued interest from international brands in aligning with Irish sport at both elite and community levels.
