"Breaking the rules. Keeping the faith." Blue Fox Entertainment unveiled another new official US trailer for the amusing New Zealand comedy film called Holy Days, about nuns who go on a road trip and have tons of fun. This first premiered at the 2025 Toronto Film Festival last year and we already posted the original NZ trailer a few months ago. It's out in the US starting in March. A lost boy in search of heaven, 3 odd nuns on a mission, a car powered by God (+ stolen money). A road trip like no other. A comedic near-tragedy that just keeps going South. Holy Days follows young Brian on a heartwarming quest to retrieve his late mother from heaven. With only the clue that his mother is on a snowy mountain, he teams up with 3 elderly nuns: Sisters Agnes (Judy Davis), Mary Clare (Jacki Weaver), & Luke (Miriam Margolyes). Their reluctant partnership blossoms into a strong bond as they embark on this emotional, once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Also starring Elijah Tamati as Brian and director Nat Boltt. This still looks very good - I want to watch it.

From the team behind the Kiwi hit Uproar, Holy Days is a hilarious, heartwarming 1970s dramedy with a star-studded cast: Judy Davis, Miriam Margolyes, and Jacki Weaver. When young Brian discovers plans to close a convent of delightfully eccentric nuns, he sets off on a wild road trip across New Zealand to save them. Packed with laughs, quirky characters, and heart, this is a joyful adventure the young at heart will adore. Holy Days is written and directed by South African actress / filmmaker Nathalie Boltt (aka Nat Boltt), making her feature directorial debut after many other short films and one episode of "Riverdale" previously. It's adapted from the novel of the same name written by Joy Cowley. It's produced by Roxi Bull, Victoria Dabbs, Sushant Desai, Michelle Morris, Emma Slade. This initially premiered at the 2025 Toronto Film Festival this fall. Rialto debuts Boltt's Holy Days film in New Zealand cinemas starting in February. Blue Fox will also release the film in US theaters nationwide on March 27th, 2026 coming soon. Who's in?
