Edgy, creative, and hedonistic, Berlin’s hotels reflect its hip vibe – from intimate boutiques to modern design hotels, it’s home to some of the world’s most unique stays. These are the places that made my jaw-drop…
1. 25 Hours Hotel Bikini
My Charlottenburg stay leaned fully into its urban jungle theme, with greenery, murals, natural wood, and hammocks giving it a tropical feel. My ‘Large Jungle’ room had floor-to-ceiling windows, an oversized bed, and a hammock I happily lounged in.
I caught panoramic views from the rooftop restaurant, picked up sourdough bread from the wood-fired bakery, and explored Bikini Island’s DJ-led creative space, while the location near Kurfürstendamm and Zoologischer Garten station made getting around easy.

I was very impressed how music was woven into everything at this futuristic riverside hotel, from Karim Rashid’s vibrant interiors to the lobby soundtrack that greeted me on arrival!
I stayed in a pink-and-blue standard double with a colourful bathroom and Nespresso machine, but the real novelty was ordering a guitar through room service. Between visits to the recording studios, workouts in the sauna-equipped gym, dinner at Fabrics, and DJ-led evenings at Envy Bar, it felt more like a creative hub than a traditional hotel.
