Photo: An Garda Síochána Laois/OffalyFerbane native Paddy Claffey, who is believed to be Ireland’s oldest man at 104-years-old, is set to lead the Clara St Patrick’s Day parade in Co Offaly this year.Paddy is one of ten children born to Sarah (Flaherty) and Kieran Claffey on April 17, 1921 and grew up in the townland of Noggusboy, where he lived and was involved in farming all his life.
