Two Irish coffee shops named among best in the world

Earlier this week, The World's 100 Best Coffee Shops revealed their list for 2026, with two Irish businesses making the cut. Coffeewerk + Press in Galway came in at number 32 on the list, while Unfiltered Coffee in Dublin was spotted at 56. The World's 100 Best Coffee Shops is a new recognition system, rating quality coffee shops from around the globe, evaluating everything from the quality of the coffee and barista experience to the ambience of the venue and the sustainability practices at work. The final selections are then made through a "robust voting system" that incorporates both public opinion and expert evaluations. Public voting allows coffee enthusiasts from around the world to have their say online, while the expert panel are invited to weigh the votes, and take part in a nomination process as well as the final selection.
