Charles Leclerc Drives 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa as Getaway Car Following His Wedding in Monaco

Before heading to Melbourne for the Australian Grand Prix to open the season, Charles Leclerc quietly married his fiancée, Alexandra Saint-Mleux, in his home country of Monaco on Saturday afternoon.

The marriage was confirmed Sunday morning when Alexandra changed her last name on social media from Saint-Mleux to Leclerc. With this marriage, Leclerc becomes just the third driver on the current grid to be married, joining Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez, who returns to the grid this year with Cadillac. Williams' Alex Albon will join the group soon with his recent engagement to Lily Muni He.

The 29-year-old Ferrari driver and his new wife, 23, were seen driving down Monaco's famous winding roads in a 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa. The driver first announced his engagement to his girlfriend of two years on November 2nd between the Mexico and Brazilian Grand Prix.

Leclerc has spent his entire career with Ferrari and seems to have free rein over the prancing horses in Maranello's stable, often seen driving around Europe in rare Ferraris. A 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa sold for $12.4 million, per the Robb Report.

Leclerc and Ferrari look to start the 2026 season with hope, putting behind them a character-building 2025 season as the team shifted focus to 2026 and the new regulations. The Monegasque driver finished last year with seven podium finishes, zero wins, and only one pole position.

For those who read into racing superstitions, or are just desperately trying to find hope for the Ferrari driver, the last two Ferrari champions, Kimi Raikkonen and Michael Schumacher, were both married at the time of their first Ferrari World Drivers' Championships.
