We're only a few months into the new year, but there is already some good news for Beijing's F&B community. Both COMMUNE and Jing-A have opened up new stores in recent months, including a Jing-A in Daxing Airport, which is great for any frequent flyers partial to a pre-flight tipple. So, without further ado, let's check out the new spots!
COMMUNE•X Opens in Sanyuanqiao and Daji Xiang
We wrote earlier this year about COMMUNE's first Shunyi branch, located in Shine Hills, which opened at the end of last year and was their ninth branch in the capital at the time. Well, they've started 2026 with a bang, already opening up not one but two new locations, bringing their current grand total to 11 Beijing branches!
First up, they've opened a new COMMUNE•X in GALLERIA Shopping Mall in Phoenix City. Kitted out with walnut wood, brown leather and soft lighting, it brings their classic gastropub vibes to the Sanyuanqiao area. Then, they've also opened another COMMUNE•X in Daji Xiang, the up-and-coming hutong area that underwent redevelopment last year. This one also brings plenty of brown, warming hues, with a focal point being a large mosaic mural along the back wall. Both locations also feature terrace areas, which will be great to enjoy once the weather starts warming up.
At each new COMMUNE•X, you can get COMMUNE's vast array of delicious eats such as burgers, pizza, all-day brunch, salads, snacks, mains and more. In our personal opinion, you can never go wrong with The Commune California Burger, Tartufata Pizza, Oxtail Grilled Cheese Sandwich or Commune Crispy Chicken Wings. Along with food, they, of course, offer a selection of their classic brews on tap along with cocktails, wine, mocktails, tea, coffee and other soft drinks.

Another brewery that has been branching out in Beijing recently is Jing-A. At the end of January, they opened up a new branch in the Xinchenli area, just northeast of the Olympic Stadium. This new branch is relatively small compared to some of their other branches; however, it also has an outdoor patio, offering some extra space once spring hits. Despite the size, they still have a staggering 26 beers on tap, plus various other drinks such as cocktails, soft drinks, etc. You can also get their usual selection of banging burgers; the Stout Bacon Wagyu Burger is a must-try, as well as mains, snacks, salads, sandwiches and more.
There is also good news for anyone who is a fan of a pre-flight drink, as towards the end of last year, Jing-A opened a branch inside the international departures area of Daxing Airport. Here, they've got a rotating selection of eight of their signature brews on tap, along with a few cocktails, wine and spirits. The best part is that, unlike many airport bars in other parts of the world, there's no markup in price, so it won't cost you an arm and a leg if you want a pint before you fly! For those feeling peckish, they also have a selection of some of their signature eats such as burgers, appetizers and snacks.
