Sport for Business PwC 30 Under 30 2026 - Yvonne Hedigan
Yvonne Hedigan
Yvonne Hedigan is Recreation Activities Manager at Sport Ireland Campus, where she plays a key role in driving public engagement in sport and physical activity.
She leads the development and delivery of inclusive programmes that support participation across all ages and abilities, helping to bridge the gap between high-performance sport and everyday active lifestyles.
Yvonne has been central to creating opportunities for diverse groups to get active, ensuring that the Campus is not only a centre of sporting excellence but also a welcoming space for wider society. She brings a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to programme design, underpinned by her academic background in health promotion.
Yvonne recently completed a Master of Science in Health Promotion Practice at Atlantic Technological University, adding to her earlier qualifications in sports management and business from Technological University of the Shannon. This combination of academic and practical experience allows her to deliver initiatives that are both strategically aligned and impactful on the ground.
Her nomination reflects her ability to translate vision into action, using sport as a tool for positive social impact while emerging as a leader within Ireland’s sport and recreation sector.

Who should we be looking to for the next wave of excellence?
Over the coming weeks we will feature a run of interviews with those who have gone before, and we will continue to highlight some of those that have taken on a new role in the past year or two.
Then in June we will gather once more in the offices of PwC to meet in person, share experience and forge connections that will be of real value.
And we will also be looking at additional ways in which we can help those nominated to enhance their career and build strong friendships across the sector, particularly in this the tenth year of the list.
