Iran regime has 'become extremely weak' says former Nobel Peace Prize winner
Iran's first female judge and former Nobel Peace Prize winner, Dr Shirin Ebadi has told Sky News the Iranian regime has been weakened by the war and could face more protests.
She said: "To date the regime has become much weaker although the regime pretends that because it has managed to stay put and survive so far, that shows that it is strong but in reality it has weakened a great deal."
Dr Ebadi added: "The regime has become extremely weak since the war started. If this war ends and the regime survives, within a very short period, it will be subjected to widespread protests by the people of Iran."
