The Jeremy Vine show descended into chaos on Monday when two callers got into a heated argument with political commentator Marina Purkis over Donald Trump.
Marina, 41, did not hold back with questioning the American president's supporters during a discussion about his controversial decision to begin a war in Iran.
The move came as a surprise after the CIA had previously claimed that the country's capacity to make nuclear weapons had been 'obliterated' in 2025.
Trump is now considering launching limited strikes on Iran to turn the screws on the regime following failed peace negotiations over the weekend.
Taking to Twitter/X to share footage of the exchange, Marina admitted: 'I try my best to be respectful to callers… But when staunch Trump defenders Jeanette and then Paul called in…well, that becomes difficult And why can they never answer the SIMPLEST OF QUESTIONS?!?'
'I'm sorry. Can we stop doing this! I don't care about what you believe Janet, it's about facts! Believe the CIA. Believe US intelligence.'

In a call with Jeanette from Lancashire, Marina said: 'His own US intelligence confirmed that Iran was not close to launching anything. He himself said last year that they had obliterated Iran's nuclear capabilities. Which bit are you believing?'
When she failed to reply, Jeremy Vine interjected: 'It's just a concern that Iran didn't really have a bomb, Jeanette.'
The caller eventually said: 'I do believe they have [a bomb].'
An angry Marina replied: 'I'm sorry. Can we stop doing this! I don't care about what you believe Janet, it's about facts! Believe the CIA. Believe US intelligence.'
Jeanette said: 'They're just people's beliefs of what they're saying.'
Marina insisted: 'No it's not! It's based on data. It's based on reports. It's based on people going into Iran.'
Jeanette then attempted to defend her position, citing Iran's threat to destroy Isreal, before Jeremy said: 'That's true but that doesn't mean they've got a bomb.'
Marina said: 'Oh Jeanette! Netanyahu's been saying that Iran was going to blow up Israel for 40 years. He finally found a US President stupid enough to go along with it.'

Jeanette snapped: 'That's your opinion but allow someone else to have their opinion!'
The heated nature of the show's discussion only continued when Marina spoke to caller Paul, who held a similar view.
He said: 'I don't want my grandkids growing up in a nuclear threat over there.'
Marina said: 'Paul, why don't you take the word of the CIA, the American intelligence? Why don't you take that as enough information there for you to understand that there was no nuclear threat and in fact, Obama signed the JCPOA deal in 2015 which blocked all pathways for Iran to achieve that nuclear weapon which Trump ripped up.
'If you care so much about your children, why weren't you furious that Trump, your most important man in the world, ripped up that safeguarding agreement?'
The Hertfordshire caller replied: 'He is the most important man in the world.'
Insisting on an answer, Marina added: 'Answer the question.'
However, Paul refused and said: 'Regarding Israel, they won't stop bombing until Hamas is finished.'
Visibly angry, the presenter said: 'Oh christ. We're talking about different countries now as well.'
Jeremy Vine airs on Channel 5 weekdays from 9:15am.
