More than 120 organizations are backing a travel advisory warning World Cup visitors to “exercise caution” when traveling to the United States under the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown.
The advisory, released Thursday, says there are “serious risks” to travelers visiting one of the 11 U.S. host cities for the summer tournament, particularly to immigrants, minority groups, and members of the LGBTQ community.
The advisory outlines six potential risks to fans, players, journalists, and other visitors:
