I hated how they brought me into HR and basically told me I didn't know what I was doing because why is it taking me so long to build a d-mn canopy. Mind you, my supervisor was a general laborer all his life. He didn't know the first thing about fabrication and welding.

Friend you were setup to fail. They found a real wicked way to blame for something so you would be able to collect unemployment insurance. That’s why they are a multimillion dollar company.

Don’t dwell on that issue, you never had a chance.

this is confusing.. why didn't the cement plant hire a guy/crew/company that has their own commercial welder to do a job? Someone with a mobile welding rig I see everywhere. Are you an employee at the cement plant doing a job you were hired to do and they had you build this thing as a side project with a welding machine that they provided?

They wanted to do it as cheaply as possible because all management cared about was staying within budget so they could get their annual bonuses at the end of the year.
