IRELAND - GIRL CHASED, ASSAULTED IN HER OWN HOME, SAVED BY BROTHER AND NEIGHBOURS

IRELAND - A local mother has publicly detailed a terrifying incident in which her 16-year-old daughter was allegedly chased and assaulted inside their family home in Lagore Lawn,  Dunshaughlin, Meath on Wednesday evening.

According to a Facebook post by Katherine Mcmorrow, posted shortly after 10pm, an intruder broke into the house, pursued the teenager upstairs, dragged her into the bathroom, and shut the door before allegedly attacking her.

The girl’s 13-year-old brother is credited with intervening heroically. Mcmorrow wrote that he “ran up the stairs, kicked in the bathroom door and dragged him out.” The victim then fled screaming to a neighbour’s house, alerting the community. Neighbours assisted, and Gardaí were called to the scene.
