US rescues missing pilot whose F-15 fighter jet was downed in Iran

US military officials have confirmed a missing crew member from a F-15 fighter jet has been found and rescued in Iran.

President Trump posted details about the rescue "deep in enemy territory".

"WE GOT HIM! My fellow Americans, over the past several hours, the United States Military pulled off one of the most daring Search and Rescue Operations in U.S. History," he wrote on Truth Social.
