'Dangerous’: Alarm raised over possible negative gearing and CGT changes

Victorian Libertarian Party Leader David Limbrick warns of the Albanese Government's decision to weigh up changes to negative gearing and the capital gains tax discount.

“The only time you should ever raise taxes is if you think that all your spending is absolutely essential,” Mr Limbrick told Sky News host Caleb Bond.

“What we need to be talking about is cutting the cost of government so that we can reduce taxes.

“All of these taxes that they increase, they have real-world consequences.”
