'Incredibly damaging': Military analyst warns of NATO unity crisis as US pulls troops from Germany

The US Defence Department has announced 5,000 American personnel will leave Germany within 6-12 months, representing 14% of the 36,000 troops currently based there.

Military analyst Sean Bell warn the move appears to be punishment for German criticism of Trump, damaging NATO unity as Iran nuclear talks falter.
