Iran war | Military analyst Sean Bell discusses Trump’s pledge to free ships in Strait of Hormuz

US President Donald Trump says the US will start to guide ships "safely" out of the Strait of Hormuz today, without providing further details on how it will work. He called it a "humanitarian gesture" with many of the vessels running low on food.

In the hours that followed Trump's announcement, the US Central Command said 15,000 troops would be part of the navigation mission in the Strait of Hormuz.
